Background/ObjectiveInsulin autoimmune syndrome (IAS) is a very rare cause of hypoglycemia presenting with recurrent fasting or postprandial episodes elevated serum insulin levels and autoantibodies. The objective this case to highlight the importance considering IAS in patients hypoglycemia.Case ReportWe present an 81-year-old female who presented symptoms hypoglycemia. She was found have hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemic without any apparent risk factors for IAS. had positive–insulin autoantibodies her leading diagnosis Acutely, managed D50 pushes, oral glucose, glucagon injection.DiscussionPatients due endogenous hyperinsulinemia should considered as possible differential diagnosis.
